Welcome to the MBJ Permanent Jewelry Experience

Jewelry is often the finishing touch to any outfit. Whether you prefer subtle pieces or bold statements, jewelry can add an element of personal style to your look. And now, there's a new trend that's elevating jewelry from an object to an experience: permanent jewelry. As an extension of our jewelry store Marilyn Brogan Jewelry, we're thrilled to be bringing permanent jewelry to Apalachicola, St. George Island (SGI) and Florida's Forgotten Coast.

Permanent jewelry is becoming increasingly popular, even among those who don't typically wear jewelry. If you're someone who finds wearing jewelry high maintenance or dislikes fussing with clasps, a permanent bracelet could be an excellent solution. It offers a touch of sparkle while also creating a delightful memory.

What is Permanent Jewelry?

As the name suggests, permanent jewelry is jewelry that's designed to be worn every day, without the need to take it on or off. Specifically, permanent bracelets are the latest trend in permanent jewelry. These bracelets are securely welded around your wrist, so you can enjoy them without the annoyance of putting them on and taking them off. If you've ever tried to secure the clasp on a bracelet yourself, then you know how challenging it can be.

Permanent bracelets offer more than just a unique look – they're an experience. You can customize your bracelet by adding charms, or you can match your friend or loved one with a matching bracelet. Once you've cultivated your vision for a wrist stack, you can return for additional bracelets with any combination of charms. It's perfect for when you're traveling and visiting a new or special place, since you'll remember your trip every time you look at your bracelet.

Where to Find Permanent Jewelry in Florida's Forgotten Coast

Frequently Asked Questions

If you're still not sure about permanent jewelry, here are some answers to common questions:

  • Are appointments necessary to get permanent jewelry? While we do welcome walk-ins, we strongly recommend making an appointment to ensure that we can accommodate your needs.
  • Will the permanent jewelry process be painful? No, you won't experience any pain during the process. The most time-consuming aspect is ensuring that the bracelet fits your wrist perfectly.
  • What's the price range for permanent jewelry? The cost of permanent jewelry will depend on the chain and charm you select. Sterling silver options start at $50, gold fill options begin at $60, and solid gold begins at $98. Charms begin at $45.
  • Is permanent jewelry truly permanent? While the jewelry is designed to be permanent, you can safely remove the chain using scissors or wire cutters in case of an emergency. You can keep the chain and have it re-welded or reattached with a traditional clasp.
  • Can I bring my own bracelet to be welded? Unfortunately, we cannot weld bracelets you already own. However, you can choose your desired style and create a unique bracelet in-store.
