What's in a name?

Hi everyone! I hope this finds you well and ready for spring. I know things are sure popping up around here – and there’s so much to update you on!

Most importantly, I have rebranded my company and transitioned away from Meander Works.

Why the change?

Primarily it reflects the evolution of the jewelry I’m making. I’m driven by a refined focus on fine, handmade, and custom jewelry using sustainable, ethically sourced, and recycled precious metals and stones. I am proud of my ongoing efforts to offer my clients heirloom-quality pieces produced with techniques and materials they can feel good about. I feel good about it, too!

I am also making more custom and one-of-a-kind work. Individual pieces, made by me. So I have put my name on the company – it just feels more personal.
I’m happy to introduce Marilyn Brogan Jewelry. I am continuing to expand my line of engagement rings and commitment jewelry, while still offering everyday pieces great for gifts, anniversaries, or just to treat yourself. New styles are coming soon, so stay tuned!

The name change has come with some other updates, too. Have you visited my website recently? You’ll see the new logo and beautiful ring portraits, done by the talented women of 7 Ton Letterpress. I would *love* to hear your feedback on the site and on the new look. The website too will continue to evolve, so keep an eye on it and let me know what you think.

Some of you may have gotten a hint these changes were coming on my social media channels. For those of you who didn’t, be sure you’re following me! It’s the best place to keep up with new work, visual inspiration, and the occasional picture of my beautiful hometown of Apalachicola, FL and my sweet little dog/studio assistant Leon LaVache.
I have a lot more exciting news on the horizon, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Keep your eyes out for my April newsletter! And feel free to share this with a friend - that’s the finest recommendation anyone can get.
