Spotting a couple of manatees frolicking in Mill Pond at sunset is one of my favorite memories of living here in Apalachicola. Though they're not full-time residents, these gentle giants are an important part of Florida's ecosystem — and increasingly endangered. Add it to the charm collection you already have, or start one with a chain of mine. Charms and chains are sold separately.

Sizes
The large version measures 1 inch long including the jump ring and weighs 6.4 grams — best suited to wear as a necklace. The small version measures just over 0.5 inch from jump ring to tail and weighs 2.1 grams, perfect on the cable chain shown as well.
