Shipping and Return Policy

Processing Time

Almost all of Marilyn Brogan jewelry is made to order. The time needed to prepare an order for shipping varies from item to item. For details, see listing for individual items. Please bear in mind that these times are estimates. 

If you are ordering for your wedding or any special event, please indicate the date in the notes section upon check out, or feel free to email  me with this information.

I'll do my best to meet your requests, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method and the carrier. 

Shipping Options and Delivery Times

Within the United States

Shipping rates and carrier are determined by the final price of your order. An email with tracking information will be sent before the order is shipped.

  • Orders $199 and below can ship via USPS First Class Mail for $5.00 with tracking. 
  • Orders $449 and below can ship via USPS Priority Mail for $15 with tracking and signature required.
  • Orders $500 to $3,499 must ship via UPS 2 Day Service for $35 with insurance, tracking, signature required at delivery
  • Orders $3,499 and up must ship via UPS Next Day Air for $60 with  insurance, tracking, signature required at delivery.

If you would like to upgrade to UPS Standard Overnight shipping you may select that option at check out.

International Shipping

All orders ship via FedEx Priority International service, the safest, insured, trackable method. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. It is the customer's responsibility to know the customs laws in their country and to alert me to any restrictions that may impact delivery. Marilyn Brogan Jewelry is not responsible for delays due to customs.

Refunds and Exchanges

We take pride in our craftsmanship and want you to be happy with your jewelry. If you are dissatisfied with your jewelry please contact us right away.

Marilyn Brogan Jewelry is not responsible for jewelry damaged by wear and tear, or repairs/alterations made by other jewelers. Prior authorization is required for all returns and exchanges. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error then we will naturally pay for the return shipping. The customer is responsible for any loss in value if the returned item is not in its original unworn condition.

Refund Policy 

  • Only "ready to ship" items are eligible for a refund (within 7 days of receipt)
  • Made to order jewelry was created especially for you and therefore not eligible for a refund. For these items we will work with you to repair or exchange the same item.
  • All SALE items are final: no exchanges or refunds for sale items (some rings can not be resized).
  • Custom designs are final sale - not eligible for refund or exchange.
  • International sales are final sale - not eligible for refund or exchange.

Made to Order Rings

All wedding bands and engagement rings, including engraved rings, are made to order, and are a final sale. If there is an issue with your ring or in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, please contact us right away.

Ready to Ship

Ready to ship jewelry without customization (such as resizing or engraving, prior to shipping) may be returned within 7 days of receipt, in original condition, for exchange or refund. Buyer is responsible for shipping fees, including insurance (original shipping fee is nonrefundable). Prior authorization is required for all returns.

Resizing

We are happy to offer one *free* ring re-sizing per ring, on most bands with out stones, up to 1/4 size (smaller or larger) within 60 days of receipt. Some rings can not be re-sized so this service is offered on a case by case basis. You are only responsible for shipping fees both ways and prior authorization is required - please do not ship rings without communicating with us first. I ask for 3 weeks to complete a resizing after I receive the ring.

If you require a resizing beyond the 1/4 size parameter a $50 fee plus the cost of any additional gold. Buyer is responsible for shipping fees both ways and prior authorization is required.

To avoid delays and extra fees it is extremely important to order the correct ring size. We recommend visiting more than one jewelry store to have your finger properly measured by a professional. Be sure to mention to the width of the ring you intend to purchase when getting sized - there are different widths of ring sizers and this can effect the accuracy.

Please use the notes section to communicate any special instructions (including your wedding or proposal date) when placing your order.

After your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation. Your order will ship within the production time listed for the items purchased. Any changes in the estimated shipping time will be communicated to you as soon as possible. You will receive a second email with tracking information when your order is shipped.

Rush Orders:

If you need your jewelry by a certain date, please contact us at to see if your request can be met. Rush fees may apply. Ordering with expedited shipping DOES NOT guarantee that your item will be shipped immediately. 

Gifts

All orders are shipped in a gift box. If your order is a gift and you would like to enclose a personal note please contact Marilyn with instructions. Receipts are sent via email to the buyer, not included in the shipment.

Repairs

If an item is defective within the first 30 days of your purchase, I'll be happy to repair it at no cost, provided it has been subjected to normal wear and tear. If after extended wear you would like me to repair your jewelry, please message me to discuss the fee. Repairs are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the extent of the repair needed. Repair costs start at $50 and will vary. Customer is responsible for shipping both ways.
