I found this tiny sea star in Apalachicola Bay while snorkeling for scallops a few years ago, and the detail and perfection of it mesmerized me. I held onto it knowing that someday I'd make it into jewelry — and that day finally came. To create this charm, the starfish itself was used to make the mold the charms are cast from; the original, which miraculously survived the process, appears in the fourth photo. It's a little reminder to always appreciate the small wonders in life.

Sizes
The large version measures roughly 1 inch including the jump ring and weighs 1.6 grams — best suited to wear as a necklace. The small version measures 0.75 inch including the jump ring and weighs 0.65 grams, perfect on the cable chain shown as well.
